We spent some time with Dr Rifat Rashid, newly appointed Hospital Executive Director at Heartlands, to talk about what she is most looking forward to and her main priorities as she steps into her new role. Following the challenges faced during the pandemic, Rifat shares her plans to establish a new identity for Heartlands that reflects and meets the needs of both the community that it serves and the staff that work there, creating a better future for our patients, staff and Heartlands as a hospital.
